Shalom! As many of you know we held a Hanukkah-Christmas Fellowship Banquet on Saturday, December 6 to raise money for our work among Holocaust survivors in Israel. Over the summer, thousands of missiles were fired into Israel from Gaza. Many of these missiles landed in Sderot, a small town that borders Gaza. Twenty thousand-plus people live there, including thousands of elderly Russian Jewish people and a large number of Holocaust survivors. Chosen People Ministries loves these underserved and often neglected people. We care for them by providing food, companionship and much more.
We had a great time listening to Marty Goetz play Christmas and Hanukkah music and were encouraged by Maxim Katz’s testimonies and slideshow from Israel.
You can still donate towards this very important work by going here.
Thank you for partnering with us in this tremendous work. Happy Holidays, whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah or both!
In Messiah,
Mitch Glaser
