Nothing is impossible with Messiah!

During the global pandemic, we reached thousands of people online that we might never have reached before!

One young woman from a devout, ultra-Orthodox Jewish family was drawn to our I Found Shalom testimony videos — which are recorded stories of other Jewish people who have come to Messiah — and as a result came to faith in Jesus!

We spoke with her and introduced her to Messianic Jewish friends in her area, and she is growing in her faith!

Thank you for believing with us that nothing is impossible with Messiah!

A Seder meal … a matzah ball … and Jesus

One of our workers in Israel shared Shachar’s (not his real name) story with us …

Shachar asked, “What does this matzah ball have to do with Jesus?”

We were backpacking some years ago and decided to host a Passover Seder meal in the hostel. I explained to Shachar that the way leaven causes bread to rise is a good picture of the spread of sin described in Scripture and how the matzah, which is pierced and broken during the Seder, is a picture of Jesus, the One without sin who was broken on our behalf.

He was captivated by the descriptions and comparisons.

Over the years, I have continued to meet up with Shachar and bring other believers who live in his area to share their testimonies and connect with him. Back in February, a photo of the group that shared that Passover Seder recirculated on social media. It caused Shachar to contact me again.

Feeling the weight of the COVID-19 lockdown, he asked, “Where is God now? Where is our Moses to save us?”

We talked about these big questions and where we can find peace. He has agreed to look at some Scriptures and discuss them with me. Please pray for him to find his answers and come to faith in Jesus.

The power of a Zoom call

Harvey (not his real name) participated in one of our ministry’s online “Havurot” small groups — exploring the historical backgrounds of different biblical holy days and sharing their connection to the good news and Messianic prophecies.

Harvey freely shared that he did not know if Yeshua is the Messiah. Although a quiet participant, he stayed on our Zoom meetings for a couple of hours each time.

Two weeks ago, Harvey reached out to his group leader. He has multiple questions and wants to meet one-on-one to explore this more. God is still in the business of turning hearts to Him, and we are grateful to be part of the process!

Please pray for Harvey’s salvation.

Car repairs for Andrei

When Andrei (not his real name) needed help the most…you were there!

Thanks to the financial support of our partners, we help families in need with various items — groceries, diapers, heaters, and more. We also distribute walkers and walking sticks to Holocaust survivors. And when Andrei called on us, we helped him, too.

Andrei has cerebral palsy and lives in Israel with his mother, who is 87 years old. His car broke down, and he had no money for repairs. He applied to various government agencies with a request for help, and everywhere the answer was no. Contacting us was his last hope.

Because of your support, we paid for the complete repair of his vehicle. Now he can again move freely and take his mother wherever she needs to go. His joy knew no bounds. What a beautiful way to share Jesus with Jewish people!
