A Tour to Remember
We will trace the steps of our founder, Rabbi Leopold Cohn, who left his old life in Hungary behind in 1892 and came to New York in search of the Messiah. He heard the gospel on the Lower East Side of Manhattan and then dedicated his life to sharing the gospel with his fellow Jewish people. The rest is history—through many trials and successes, the Lord’s grace has sustained Chosen People Ministries for the past 125 years!
The Heritage Tour begins with a welcome reception on Wednesday evening at the Chosen People Ministries International Headquarters, followed by two full-day tours in Manhattan and Brooklyn, including the 125th Anniversary Banquet on Friday evening.
Your visit to New York City will provide you with a personal look at the heritage and ministry of Chosen People Ministries and will feature visits to sites that also focus on the Jewish roots of New York. Dr. Mitch Glaser, president of Chosen People Ministries, will personally host your New York City adventure.

The Heritage Tour will include an intimate group of guests who will fellowship and share this incredible journey through the history of Chosen People Ministries on the streets of New York City.

- The Chosen People Ministries International Headquarters in Manhattan
- The Brooklyn Messianic Center and the Charles L. Feinberg Seminary
- The Lower East Side church where our founder, Leopold Cohn, came to faith
- The New York Tenement Museum
- An optional Broadway show* on Saturday
*For an additional cost, we can book tickets to a Broadway show that you can attend on your own time on Thursday or Saturday. Please request more information on shows and availability.

When should we arrive and depart?
Check-in at the Lexington New York Hotel: Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 3:00 PM You may check into your hotel room before or after the welcome event. If you arrive prior to check in, you may leave your luggage with the hotel bellman.
Check-out: Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 12:00 PM.
Please note: If you are departing Friday night after the Anniversary Banquet, you may leave your luggage with the hotel bellman for the day and collect it when we return to Manhattan.

What is the deadline to register for the tour?
August 1, 2019. Please note that the tour is limited to fifty guests so please register as soon as possible.
How do I obtain my tickets for the tour
If you provide your email address, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not, you will receive a confirmation letter by mail.
Are children and teens allowed on the tour? If so, do you have special prices for them?
This tour is for guests thirteen years of age and older. Pricing is the same for both children and adults.
What if I have a food allergy?
Please let us know if you have any allergies and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Do I need to pay in advance of the event?
All payments need to be submitted before the event.
Transportation
Once you arrive at your hotel in New York, we will be covering all accommodations, tours, excursions, and most meals. All we ask is that you arrange for your own transportation to and from the hotel.

This is New York’s second-largest airport, with more than twenty airlines serving mostly domestic destinations, as well as Canada and the Caribbean, from four passenger terminals. LaGuardia is on the northern shore of Queens, directly across the East River (about 8 miles from Midtown Manhattan). Here is how to get to Manhattan from LaGuardia:

Miles to hotel: 17.4 miles
Newark Airport, with more than thirty airlines (many of which are international), is across the Hudson River from New York City—sixteen miles from Midtown Manhattan. Here is how to get to Midtown Manhattan from Newark Liberty:
- Taxi: Traveling to Manhattan, metered fare; approximately $50 to $60, plus bridge and tunnel tolls and gratuity; 45 to 60 minutes to Midtown Manhattan. During weekday rush hours (6–9am and 4–7pm) and on weekends (Saturday–Sunday, noon–8pm), there is a $5 surcharge for travel to anywhere in New York State except Staten Island. Traveling to the airport from Midtown Manhattan, metered fare plus $15, bridge and tunnel tolls and gratuity; 45 to 60 minutes from Midtown Manhattan.
