• 2019 was our 125th anniversary, celebrating a century and a quarter of sharing the good news about the Jewish Messiah, Jesus! We also celebrated Israel’s glorious future with Israel’s Glorious Future conferences in: Charlotte, North Carolina; Boca Raton, Florida; Irvine, California; Sandy Cove, Maryland; and Delavan, Wisconsin.
• Shalom New York! This year’s outreach to New York City was our biggest yet, with 127 volunteers from all over the world presenting two weeks of street ministry, special evangelistic events, telephone follow-up, training in Jewish missions, worship, devotion, and, most importantly, prayer. We distributed nearly 100,000 pieces of gospel literature and had evangelistic conversations with well over 10,000 people.
• We also initiated a digital media campaign, offering our evangelistic book, Isaiah 53 Explained, and the opportunity to sign a petition against antisemitism. We intensified our Facebook and YouTube ads, as well as promoted the more than eighty testimonies of Messianic Jews on our website, ifoundshalom.com. In addition to street outreach, our volunteers followed up with personal phone calls to those who responded to these online evangelistic materials.
• Our leadership conference in Poland, with a focus on Russian-speaking Jewish ministry, was also an amazing success. And training Russian-speaking Messianic leaders also blesses our ministry to Holocaust survivors in Israel and elsewhere. Our dedicated staff of twenty-five workers in Israel, most of whom are Israelis, are reaching students, soldiers, families, and young adults. They also conduct children’s camps and minister to elderly Holocaust survivors.
