6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
As the crucifixion approached, many incredible things happened. The last meal Jesus celebrated with His disciples was especially meaningful. That meal was Passover, the Jewish festival Jesus had celebrated every year. But what comes from that traditional meal is a new understanding of how the Passover lamb, which saved the Hebrews in Egypt, would foreshadow the Lamb of God who saves us from sin. To this day, the church celebrates a form of Passover in the Lord’s Table (communion).
But this year, you have the opportunity to join us for the ancient and modern holiday of Passover and to experience what Jesus experienced as well as what Jewish people still celebrate today. Come and learn why this holiday should be understood in your Christian walk.
PLUS, this event is a great evangelistic opportunity to invite your Jewish friends to hear a culturally sensitive presentation of the gospel through the Passover. Dinner will be served, so come expecting to have a great time, learn a lot, challenge your taste buds, and share Jesus with your Jewish friends.
