Israeli Holocaust survivors are fleeing the onslaught of Islamic Jihad missiles raining upon the border towns adjacent to Gaza.
We really need to help them!
The situation in Israel is far worse than it appears in our American news media. As of now, more than 400 rockets have been fired from Gaza to Israel. Thankfully, the Iron Dome defense system has destroyed 90 percent of the missiles.
Maxim, our faithful worker among the elderly Holocaust survivors wrote:
Shalom, Mitch.
Because of the aggravated situation and the firing of rockets in Israel, especially in the south, we received a call from a group of people from a Holocaust survivor’s club with a request to take them out of the city for several days. This is a group of about 25 people. I found a place near Jerusalem in a Neve Shalom hotel and they are ready to host the group. Our staff are ready at this time to provide a spiritual program for them. However, since this project is not in the budget and this is an emergency, we need $8,000 for 3 nights. Maybe there is some way to help us?
Thanks, and blessings,
Maxim K.
Here is how you can help:
- Please pray for the elderly Holocaust survivors living in Sderot, bordering Gaza. Also, please pray for the safety of civilians, the accuracy of the Iron Dome system, safety and protection for IDF soldiers, and wisdom for Israeli leaders in government and the military. Pray, as well, for mercy on innocent Palestinian civilians living in Gaza and for their protection.
- Share this video on social media as widely as possible as this situation rarely makes mainstream news.
- Please prayerfully consider making a generous gift now to help us ensure that these precious elderly Jewish people have a safe place to stay for the next few days, away from Sderot and other Gaza border towns in the line of fire.
